Pretty sure movies like this and Panther have detailed where they pull their inspiration from in terms of real life peoples and cultures.
None of those fashion brands said where they stole inspiration. This isn't the same thing. Avatar imagery is amalgamated from native cultures on earth. That was always the Inspiration. It's a story of colonization.
