excerpt from their review

The two versions look nearly identical. Viewing the Xbox One release next to the PS4 , I had difficulty telling them apart. It's possible that the PS4 version looked somewhat sharper, but that may have just been my imagination after confirming the hard resolution difference. The next-gen releases of Call of Duty: Ghosts are so close together that gun to my head, I'd have no confidence in being able to discern which version was which — at least, while the two are standing still.
The Xbox One release's framerate was far more noticeable. As mentioned in the initial review, Call of Duty: Ghosts suffers from consistent framerate drops on the PS4, especially during multiplayer when action got especially hectic. The Xbox One version suffered no such drops, maintaining a steady 60 frames per second throughout.
For a multiplayer shooter, framerate consistency is paramount. Given its relative visual parity with the PS4 release, Call of Duty: Ghosts is a more playable, slightly superior (albeit disappointing) game on Xbox One.

:russ: :snoop: :camby: ps4 review 6.5 .. xbone review 7.0 :mjpls:

heres a real unbiased video that shows side by side comparison on the 2 games.

oh also Polygon gave the last of us 7.5/10

Another lie and busted AGAIN.

http://furiousfanboys.com/2013/11/polygon-caught-lying-about-ps4-on-their-xbox-one-stream/

This morning, gaming site Polygon is doing a twelve-hour live stream showing off the Xbox One. Right before the comical demo of Dead Rising 3, where most of the voice commands didn’t seem to work and they couldn’t even snap Internet Explorer correctly, a panel of editors discussed the system that the site seems to be carrying so much water for.

During this panel, site Editor-in-Chief Chris Grant stated a couple times that one advantage the Xbox One has over the PS4 is that the Xbox One supports remote controls and the PS4 does not. He even used the example that mom would want to use the Xbox One over the PS4 because she wouldn’t want to use the Dual Shock 4 to watch a movie. Later, he used the example of Netflix on how the Xbox One is a superior choice over the PS4 for Netflix because of remote support.

You can see the first statement about remotes at the 5:30 mark in this clip. A direct quote, about the PS4, is “it does not use remotes at all”. The Netflix comment is at the end.

The problem with these statements is that they are lies.

The PlayStation 4, like the Slim PS3 before it, fully supports HDMI-CEC controls. While every TV manufacturer calls it something different, virtually every major television that is relatively recent supports it. Samsung, Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, LG, Hitachi, Toshiba, Philips, and component manufacturers like Onkyo all support this Consumer Electronics Control feature of HDMI. Due to HDMI-CEC, you can use your normal television remote control to operate the PS4.

While the Xbox One does support an IR-Blaster, most devices have moved away from that because HDMI-CEC is simply more convenient due to being able to use your normal TV remote for control.

I even made a video to demonstrate this:

Of course, I then tweeted this video to Chris Grant wanting to know why he decided to lie to viewers about the PS4:

Naturally, after being pointed out how wrong he was and how he was indeed lying to his readers, he blocked me:

The moral of this story is not to blatantly lie to your readers or viewers. Especially with something like this. You will be called out on it…

Japan, but from the 989
Damn he got caught in that lie. I have a feeling that the Xbox One will not be as successful as the PS4 this time around because of Microsoft's strategy to make it an "Entertainment Center". Maybe somewhere in the thinking they forgot that the Xbox is loved because it is a good GAMING Console. It had Xbox Live and it was RELIABLE. Now after all is said and done some a$$hole at the head of Microsoft tried to lay out a grand vision of what he thinks the future of gaming is....and it's in TV? Sony learned from their mistakes with the PS3 and are getting back into gaming. I'm calling this early, but when Microsoft starts getting their ass kicked in sales, expect a price drop before next Christmas along with a Kintec less Xbox One..(shyt they may even change the name.)
