i see your point but also from what i gather from the communication from listening to gene show in the past.
i think from what i gather. the law enforcement showed GENE photos of the event and the potential murderer next to gene diddy and them. mase assume it was a group photo but gene was trying to say that that alleged murderer was in the background.

ts like you take a photo with your friends and there is a some random person in the far background walking or standing by.
