Brehs I'm in a situation... I'm on my iphone cause a nikka can't use his MacBook.

I need to know if it's possible to use iCloud to save all my files and shyt so I can get everything on a new MacBook... Or even if I was to somehow get this thing to factory reset... I can't put shyt on a flash drive cause I can't really click shyt. It takes like 5 minutes to make it click something.

Basically how can I make sure that I keep everything on this MacBook without using a external harddrive/flash drive ?

And how can I factory reset my MacBook? I'm on version 10.7.5

I dunno what's wrong with my MacBook or even if a factory reset will fix it.... I think it's a hardware issue.... I can't click shyt, my trackpad don't work or my usb mouse and everything is glitchy

I can't make quotes on my phone... But nothing. Just using it like normal... Then I noticed the last 3-4 it started getting glitchy... And today the shyt ain't even usable.

I been on it a lot..I think maybe it could have overheated and melted some hardware.. I have no idea

I only use icloud to backup my notes, bookmarks, and contacts.

I use dropbox to back up all my documents.

and I use time machine to backup the other contents of my MPB like music and what not.

Why can't u just take out the hdd and put it in the new computer, are macs that much different?

well dropbox works with any device, so if u have shyt backed up there, you will have it back if you install that app on a new MBP.

time machine requires you to schedule a backup or do them manually. I use my external to back up via time machine and only do it every couple weeks or so. but like I said, the most important stuff is my documents , and that's in dropbox backed up constantly.

if u have a backup on time machine, u should be able to restore that to a new MBP when u get it.

if ur money is funny, u better get a windows laptop. or u could hit up the apple refurbished website and get a MBP there. I got mines for 30% off just cuz it was last year's model, but it looks the same as this year's version except with a slightly slower CPU.

but I got the fulll 512GB SSD hard drive and 8GB RAM, so I'm good.

however, u would have probably been better served making this thread in the arcadium since those cats know more about possibly fixing ur broken laptop.
