Nah Macklemore's probably the best white rapper of any time.

"Thrift Shop" is not a great chorus, it's the exact opposite of a great chorus. It's catchy but the reason why it's catchy is because the chorus is written to be annoying which exasperates the listeners senses and makes the verses more appealing. This is even evident by them using a fat lady to bring the chorus in during the music video

Far as I can tell Thrift Shop is the only interesting thing he's ever done. Hasn't he been rapping for 10 years already?

Even though Em is trash now, he's STILL nicer than Macklemore. So are Asher Roth, Yelawolf, Mac Miller... I can't think of one mainstream white rapper he's BETTER than.
