Suge was dissing Puff

Dogg pound and Snoop dissed Da Brat and Jermaine Dupri in the “What Would You Do” video because Da Brat and Jermaine was some biting ass nikkas, they was biting Dr Dre and Snoop with the Funkadfied album

Da Brat was a complete rip off of Snoop on her first album.

The funny thing is, Jermaine started biting Puff too

I hate when nikkas be trying to rewrite history with new theories

this seems pretty spot on. With that said, even if true, I can’t see this changing anything in the biggie and pac timeline. Maybe the media timeline pushing this east/west thing, but pac and biggie were set to clash.

Side note: this gives insight into how serious swagger jacking was back in the day. Biting was a no no. JD made a career out of it, which is why it’s funny he’s trying to get his flowers now. 98% of everything he did was a carbon copy of something else.

“What you say” by em is still one of the funniest diss records

Skillz weird for this, that said, Snoop weird for dissing JD since he had worked with JD and Kriss Kross less than a year before the What Would U Do video.

Also its disingenuous to act like Pac brought all this beef to a vegan Death Row like there wasnt more disses on The Chronic than on All Eyez On Me smh

Facts

Jermaine always has bitten off whatever is popular

That’s why I’ve never been able to respect him as a hip hop producer

He can write songs and produce but he a biting ass nikka

Jermaine as an r&b producer > Jermaine as a hip hop producer

Its crazy, but highly likely. After all, Bow Wow did in fact end up with So So Def.
It makes no sense, Skillz is just conflating incidents, issues with JD did not lead to Pac or Bigs death. Pac and Big were both long dead by the time JD got Bow Wow. Yawl know better than this c'mon

Side note, didn't JD sign a fake Jay-Z at one point?

I’m not fully agreeing with him, as I mentioned pac and biggie was inevitable. I’m saying this can be accurate and the only thing this changes is how the media used this a vessel to get ‘views’ to heighten their east/west propaganda. Puff even said he approached Suge about his comments. At that time in his life, there’s no way Suge wouldn’t stand on what he said and say “yeah it’s about you” or some shyt like “if the shoe fits”

Right, and I'm not disagreeing with the events that happened, that's well documented but, Skillz is saying the beef with JD is what led to Pac and Big death, he says it at the opening of the video, we all know that couldn't be further from the truth. I'm not disputing that Suge had a problem with JD, that's common knowledge, but that had nothing to do with how or why Pac and Big got killed.

Above the fray.
NO, Mad Skills is reaching here

There was a HEAVY NY bias among the audience that night. If you werent from NYC metro, you got no love.
Da Brat and JD performed that night and flopped, even though her record was HUGE out here.
Outkast was booed because they beat out Smiff&Wessun for new group award
69Boys mega flopped on stage

Snoop, who was super-duper popular everywhere, had to call out the audience for booing as he and Dre accepted an award

Suge was definitely talking about Puff, and this fictional story of Suge telling Puff that he wasnt was only told once Suge was locked up.

They turned LBW over to JD because he had success with kiddie rappers Kriss Kross, and was better suited to sell an album of a kid than Death Row was.

While I highly doubt Suge Juelzed to Puff about the incident I also recognize that Suge easily could have and probably was talking about JD as well as Puff and anyone else who fit the criteria, it had no bearing on Pac or Bigs deaths regardless tho. Suge was long locked up once Snoop brought Bow Wow to JD, Snoop had already been on No Limit for 2 years when he brought him to JD so it goes without saying Pac and Big were long dead. Skillz is trying to tie unrelated incidents together like JMX or Carpet Head, and it's as ridiculous as their theories. It's making me want to start up on my Akilaveli The MC and Chalidafi Tuna troll shyt cause that's as close to being true as this reach is.

Yeah, the actual timeline of events disproves his theory here.

I like Skills, still have old freestyles of his on tape, and just see it as a shame that he has to resort to this to drive engagement to his channels.

JD was always a biter in that era. He had a bootleg Salt n Pepa group earlier, and Kriss Kross was literally his spin on Mike Bivins' Another Bad Creation.
