I've always wondered about the structure/creation of this album, but never looked it up.

Is it sample based, chopped and rearranged? Or is it live instrumentation? A mix of the two?

I love Slim's Return and Mystic Bounce - those are my fav two off of the album.

pretty sure he had access to the Blue Note Records catalog and sampled from there...i could be mistaken but thats how i remembered it.
