Pull Up the Roots
Breakfast for dinner.
85%
It might sound like 85% is not far from 99%, but in statistical and electoral terms, it’s actually a significant difference, especially when dealing with millions of voters.
You're not actually engaging with the point. It's obvious the stat wasn't meant to be some peer-reviewed data set, but was highlighting the depth of loyalty Trump has, even after something as disastrous as COVID or his many other failures. Whether it's 85% or 99%, the fact remains that most of his voters stuck with him through everything. The take away from that is the claims of "buyers remorse" are phony. There's no genuine regret there. There's no commitment to change. In fact, they would do it again, if they could. Not everyone who voted for Trump is maga

I can agree with the OP, but everyone else will anyhow, so might as well say something no one else will
And saying "not everyone who voted for Trump is MAGA" is a convenient dodge. Maybe that was more true in 2016, but by 2020 and especially 2024, anyone still voting for him is a pretty clearly aligned with MAGA politics. If people had serious issues with him, they had multiple chances to walk away. Most didn't. That's the reality.
