Capitalism requires three things to function:
1. Materials
2. Machinery
3. Manpower
The goal of any and all business within a capitalist economic system is to maximize profit and minimize expense.
A.I. is sold to businesses as a cost saving measure. A.I. itself is both antithetical to, and a product of this goal. The AI reduces expenses 2 and 3. But it also creates unemployment which suppresses demand for products and weakens the tax base and therefore the government's ability to even function. The goal of the oligarchs is to reduce government into these things:
1. Public relations. They need politicians to tell you that any other economic or political system won't work and is not worth even trying.
2. Attack dogs. You want resources and manpower? Get the government to invade another country, destroy its government and infrastructure and then ink up deals for you to access the resources and the government can use the refugees that it's created as cheap labor for you.
3. A financier to bail the rich out when they get suckered into a scam or don't think twice before making an investment. It also acts as a financier of risky projects you dont want to lose money on.
A.I. is being sold as essentially a job destroying technology(saving companies the expense of hiring humans). However, it destroys the tax base, accelerates the aging of society as children become an unaffordable luxury, and reduces the fighting capacity of the country as a whole. Hard to go out and do those wars when you'll have engineered conditions so that the average soldier is 40 something years old, gets sunburned easily because you've booted out/killed the non whites has type 2 diabetes, and dies from diseases you didn't vaccinate him against because it's "woke" or some other stupid excuse these people come up with instead of just learning about science
This is what conservatives have wanted for years and they're getting it. All this 'outrage' is performative. These people would shut the fukk up faster than a clam on coke if someone offered them stock in palantir, Microsoft, etc. Conservatives are spineless losers who dont believe in anything other than narcissm and racial supremacy. As long as they get a cut, they dont care. America is an individualist "fukk yall i got mine" society and that's how the conservatives and centrists(who pretend to be liberal but get on code immediately when it comes to capitalism and the military industrial complex) want. They got what they wanted and they're still miserable. fukk em
