he shouldve said this from jump. it'd be more believable then

Agreed. But maybe something held him back for some reason. Regardless, I don't think it will end well for him in the court of public opinion. You already know white folk gonna say he lying and of course we have a large section of black folk who will always side with that type of thought (see Stephen A, Whitlock, Wiley).

  • Myles Garrett says that he said a racial slur
  • Mason Rudolph denies saying such thing
  • League says they can't find any evidence of Mason Rudolph saying it

what I want to know is what are the other black players from the Steelers and the Browns that were there saying?

he might have said it

Oh he definitely said it at one point and probably still says it to this day...

I dunno if he said it to Miles that night though. And unfortunately nobody can prove either side of the argument.

So let me get this straight. NFL has mics all over the field for all their games now yet we are to believe that a Thursday night PRIMETIME game had no audio recording:comeon:

Isn’t this normal for the NFL...Even if they did catch him or hear him saying it at this point they would likely delete it and act as if nothing ever happened...Bad for the image of the league if this was known.

of course they wouldnt release it/claim they have no evidence.. the fallout & backlash from them releasing that audio would be too big of a hit to the league..

you'd have former + present players coming out, and telling their stories.. refs would be thrown in the mix.. NFL already is full of controversy.. not to mention, QB is one of the most protected positions nowadays..

one thing i will say.. had that been say Winston, in that scuffle.. and, he was yelling "crakkka.. im gonna kill you.. :damn:" after someone ripped his helmet off.. they would've had some audio..

Can’t say I believe it tbh. Mostly because if it was me there’s no fukking way I would’ve waited that long to say he said it. I would’ve let the world know he said it in the post game interview. I damn in the fukk sure wouldn’t have apologized to the cac if he said a racial slur towards me. Think dude just tryna make sure he’s not suspended next season.

Never mentioned it until the hearing

Hes chatting shyt
That's why i wanna hear from the black players that were in the vicinity when the fight started and was going on.

On the surface Mason Rudolph looks like the type that would say some racist shyt for real. But did he say it in that instance? I don't know. I hope Myles Garrett isnt putting his credibility on the line to lie and save himself from one less game of suspension. I would like to think that Myles Garrett would be smarter than to lie about something that technology and eyewitnesses could easily prove to be a lie. So that's why i wanna believe Garrett but I need the other black players (from both teams) that were there to confirm it so i have something to stand on with my argument.

I choose to believe it and it's up to them to convince me that he's lying.

I see exactly what’s going on and I believe Myles even more now

The only thing I had a problem with is him saying he doesn't know if the comments were said out of frustration or ignorance, racism isn't ignorance because they are fully aware of what they say and do.

If he said it then by all means throw the book at him

But during most sporting racial moments the black player normally would mention it as soon as he gets the chance ( to the ref or in front of the first camera he sees )

This is why I think his story is bull

See... He's doing it again. :mindblown:
At least based on the way i perceive this post I'm reading tit as if he's saying he could understand if Rudolph's actions were out of frustration. But at the same time he's saying his own actions are inexcusable..as if Rudolph's actions would be excusable if it was out of frustration.

Edit: I just looked at the replies to that tweet. White people are lighting him up. He should stop posting and holler at the players that were there to see if they heard anything. Mason Rudolph is a fukking second string QB. This aint Big Ben. I doubt black players on the Steelers would be going out of their way to protect him if he is a racist that's so low in the pecking order.

IMO this statement is driven by two things: his desire to lessen his suspension by providing justification, and his desire to lessen his suspension by showing penitence. The second undermines the first, and makes it read passive-aggressive TBH.
