So basically a small minority of Canadian truckers and their supporters are protesting vaccine mandates. The media is portraying this as a grassroot movement but if you dig a little deeper these people are being funded by Right wing billionaires. Also its important to note that the majority of Canadian truckers are vaccinated. Their protest is causing massive delays at the borders. The ambassador bridge at the Detroit/Canadian border is effectively shut down causing traffic flow to be rerouted to another bridge called Blue Water bridge in Port Huron, MI. Its causing such a strain that the auto indsutry is already considering lay offs.

Fyi, similar protests may even occur this weekend in the US during the Superbowl.

I’ve said numerous times the Canadian gov can shut this shyt down forthwith by revoking all those truck drivers CDL license or the Canadian equivalent… No CDL no work.. Majority of those truck driver making payments on those trucks.. Cant make the monthly payment it gets repo’d.. it’s that simple

also not only revoke their CDL’s revoke the truck’s registration too.. now they can’t operate the truck on the roads and risk fines… The Canadian gov being real patient with these a$$holes

Premiere of Ontario declared a state of emergency and said this

Ford said fines for non-compliance will be severe, with a maximum penalty of $100,000 and up to a year of jail time.

Additional authority is also being considered to take away the personal and commercial licences of anyone who does not comply with the orders, Ford said.
