Funny how some of yall want to make excuses for Montez and tell other people not to worry about wrestlers politics. If I’m only rooting for someone in the first place largely because they’re Black and from where I’m from (in the macro sense) then of course stuff like this matters. I cut off 100% of Trump supporters from my real life so I’ll be damned if I’m gonna support an entertainer who made that choice. I think the main reason some people try to stay anonymous is because they don’t want real world consequences for their online behavior. All the slurs they throw around and inflammatory posts they throw out.. these people don’t want their real world images tied to that. Most people are completely aware that the way they’re acting on online is really not okay lol.. it’s the reason the most agitative/problematic people on social media run around with anime avatars and shyt. They know their family and friends would be embarrassed by their behavior if anything tied it back to them so they hide behind screen names




As far as wrestlers/ entertainers in general staying silent on some stuff.. I think some of these people probably just don’t feel all that strongly about certain stuff, and the ones that do probably realize in today’s climate they’re gonna get ripped apart by whatever side doesn’t agree with them so it’s probably just easier for em to keep their head down and shut the fukk up. Nothing good comes from being famous with opinions lol. All it takes is one wrong tweet to put ya whole career in the toilet
