any experience with these? i looked at some samples on ipad or whatever but i dont want to blow doe if theyre dumbed down...

I never understood the appeal of magazines on a tablet...you going offline for a while?

i just dont like the clutter and housekeeping associated with physical mags. esp something weekly like time. thats a lot of trash

I ended up getting free digital subscriptions to a few magazines b/c of airline points that I was going to otherwise lose.
Right now I have
1) Sports Illustrated
2) Time
3) Entertainment Weekly
4) Fast Company
My wife has some chick magazines that I can't think of now.
In general you get more content in the digital editions. All the print articles are there and you sometimes will get links to videos (YouTube or produced by the magazine) and other stuff that doesn't make sense for the print format (live twitter feeds, etc).
I don't read them at all anymore. They were free so I took them. If you read magazines though it can do nothing but add to the experience. Also I have an iPad 2 and a Galaxy S3. Fast Company's digital edition is free for print subscribers on iPad but not on Android.
ended up with Game Informer and GQ so far. GQ is absolute piff on here
