He knew, that is what is important. He got a tattoo of it, and was in the Marines. He definitely knew what it meant, because others in the Marines would have also told him.

Actually, you did. By stating the average person doesn't know, you implied in that statement that he did not know. There was no way he did not know over 20 years after he got it, especially when he was a Marine when he got it.

I didn’t imply shyt. I replied to someone asking what the tattoo was and gave my opinion about the tattoo. I can give a fukk about this guy. Find any post from me talking about him outside this thread. Even in this topic my only point of discussion is the tattoo. I don’t know if he knew what is was or not but it’s doesn’t matter. It’s like if some one does something racist without knowing they still did it and others have the right to be offended. So I’m not here to defend him. Just gave my opinion on the tattoo and how recognizable it is or isn’t as a nazi symbol.
