I'm curious whether the hurricane season will help or harm desantis.

Obviously he can't campaign when his state is under water, but I think he may get a boost from constant press coverage , especially if there are 2-3 big hurricanes this season. He may even get some photo-op(s) when he leaves his mansion to help people living in the (newly deposited) mud .

Look at Texas, the elementary school shooting, the blizzard, power going out and taking so long to restore and the folks in charge still got re-elected.
