Between '98-'99 I recall outkast on the radio and I love that shyt, particularly rosa parks
2006: im 12 and T.I. Is blasting through the airways, I have no iPod so all I have is radio
Later that year I buy my first CD off the strength of one of my favorite hip hop songs of all time
07: Graduation drops and I use my homies MP3 and play "glory" and "champion" on repeat a few thousand times
08: the reign of lil wayne, I get an iPod for Christmas and all im playin is weezy
That same year I get an iPod and I've got Wayne, Kanye, Lupe, UGK, Goodie Mob and outkast on my playlist
09: my theme song for half the year
But then the God Cudi arrives
2010: I go old school and finally start listening to som classics, illmatic, reasonable doubt, OBFCL and for some reason turn into a slick rick fanatic
2011: I started listening to Rock N Roll after I heard Wayward son, hip hop was still my main I just listened to rock on the side
2012: my aunt gives me a BB King CD and I shift into to jazz, blues and soul. I started disliking hip hop this year too(still bumped cussed though heavy)
2013:
Not gone lie, this year was dry as fukk for me and I listened to mostly old shyt, I also had a hard copy of every last album by this time

Isaiah rashad became my savior once cudi fell off
2015: vince staples, aloe black, Cole, rashad, school boy, kendrick, Chance the rapper, Aubrey miller, pee wee, B.o.B
