KORG Gadget for Nintendo Switch - MUSIC PRODUCTION STUDIO | KORG (USA)

lhvwaAM.png

16 unique synthesizer and drum machine gadgets

The KORG Gadget for Nintendo Switch includes 16 gadget instruments required for music creation. In addition to numerous unique synthesizers, ready-to-use drum machines and Kamata jointly developed with BANDAI NAMCO STUDIO are all included. All gadgets have sophisticated adjustable parameters for rapidly producing all manner of sounds. You will find inspiring sounds quickly and easily.
Actively create and perform by operating the Joy-Con

Joy-Con™ sensors allow for enjoyable creation and performance of HD effects. For example , turn the Joy-Con™ to turn the knob on a gadget, or twist to enter or play the notes of a scale that matches the song. In both cases, HD vibration matching the movement is transmitted to the hand, so you can experience sensory feedback that has never been available in software before. In addition, it is also possible to perform and input using the Joy-Con™ buttons and sticks. Try challenging yourself in various ways
Multi-player mode allows for collaboration by up to 4 people

We've added a multi-player mode that allows up to 4(*) people to collaborate on a song. This new style allows four people to play simultaneously on a screen divided into four parts. Each player can be responsible for his or her own part, or you can make it a DAW competition - perhaps erase or add the notes of another player, and turn music creation into a game!
The Living room, mobile: Play wherever you'd like

Using the Nintendo Switch dock's HDMI cable, the KORG Gadget can be played on your TV. You can create a song on the big screen, or enjoy collaborating with up to four people. Also, by outputting to a screen, you can even using the Joy-Con™ for a live performance. Create music with this studio anytime, anywhere by choosing between TV Mode, Table Mode, Mobile Mode, etc.

As a kid, this would be something that I would prefer to use. As an adult I know better :francis:
Kids don't really know how to make music like that. But with FL Studio and a couple of other DAWs making it easy for youth and other people who want to make music be able to imagine and hear their creations pretty quickly it'll be fine.

Now this would be really cool to use with a custom Labo kit

That's a pretty cool concept.

Music games have always been dope. From Mario music on Mario paint, to MTV music generator 1,2,3.

Like I said above with how simple it is for people to make music in 2017 people sort of gravitate to it. Even 12 years ago people were infatuated with how easy it is to make music with something like GarageBand, and of course you have FL studios and such which don't really require any knowledge of music theory and tons of online how to make music (whether rap, dubstep, edm) in 1 video.......this should fare well.

You forgot to mention music (beats) is now trash mostly with pilled out kids mumbling "skoot skoot"

Nada nan one of them nikkaz sounding like 9th wonder, premier/etc. With a few exceptions but even those types usually are just trying to duplicate a sound

i didnt forget to mention it. I agree with you wholeheartedly, I doubt that this new generation of beat makers, instrumentalists, and dj's are going to be long standing.

However from a money making standpoint, the makers of Reason, Fl Studios, etc dont care. They showcase and highlight, "Here's how easy it is for you make a song" Not only that, they provide tools for you to think of a beat/melody/song and relatively quickly be able to hear what you were thinking, professionalize it and show it to your friends/families/followers.

Guitar Hero wasnt teaching cats to actually play guitar, but people love that. When you get into Rocksmith and Rockband 3 that was actually teaching cats to play guitar. Keep in mind that this isn't a game but an actual digital Korg synth module, this is a real instrument. Meaning you can manipulate a sine wave, use different filters, oscillators, modulation...and its real. You could in theory use an actual physical synthesizer whether at home, a friends house, or at guitar center and create/replicate your same synth patches.

Its something that'll attract people who already use synth modules, also it'll attract people who are into music who are familiar with the Korg brand. Plus the music community has a niche of people who like to use strange, outdated and different forms of music technology. Some do it just to utilize it to its full potential and push its limits, while others do it to be different. All in all it gets used.

Still not copping but here's an update:

I copped.

I'm happy with the purchase.

There's no metronome which pisses but any person who does music can just hum or beatbox a melody or rhythm and find out the bpm in a matter of seconds.

The time trial mode is mad worth it. It randomizes various instruments and you just create a beat with what it gives you. It forces you to utilize instruments or sounds you wouldn't use. It's pretty cool in that creative aspect.

:obama: So the new update allows you to jump on to other peoples beats or just watch.

You cant chat or communicate.

Also if you jump on to someone elses joint or watch, when you quit...you keep all of their work. Thats probably gonna be a deterrent for some because keeping others work is not the wave in music making.

You can transfer songs to iphone or ipad or via icloud
