It’s a well produced album for Nas. If you measure it up against great production from that year none of those beats would stand a chance

Beat sounded generic to me when I first heard it. Then I found out it was just a preset.

I always laugh at how other producers look down on sample-based producers when 90% of their shyt is VST presets anyway. Functionally the same thing.
