Is there a clear cut winner? Kendrick is on GQ which means more cac exposure and influence. Drake is winning hearts and minds grinding on tour. Yeezy (or his super saiyan clone) is giving nikkas the business in skinny jeans for talking greasy. Hov' will be on tour soon. Eminem just dropped MM2.

The game right now is at a tossup when it comes to who can take the reigns and truly dominate. Then there are the ones you never saw coming.

Who got it?

If Drake had dropped an album with the staying power that Take Care had, I would've said him hands down. I'm pretty sure he would've ghosted for the majority of the year too. I really don't think he can abstain from the game for that long off the back of NWTS though. shyt doesn't feel powerful enough.

I really don't think anyone is in a position to DOMINATE rap at the moment like the 50's or the Wayne's did in the not too distant past. It really is there for the taking. Cole could have a big album but he aint the type of artist to DOMINATE like that. Jay ain't about domination like that anymore either. Next album gonna be important for Kendrick but I lowkey feel like he peaked too early with GKMC. Someone gotta come from the left and takeover like how Tip did in 04-06.

Really could be anyone. Wouldn't even look past nikkas like Meek.

Between K-Dot stepping up his game for his follow up album, Cole's 3rd album, and Joey Badass major label solo album. 2014 will mark the new generation and their albums making impact.

co-sign....with one exception...Joey needs to be thrown in the bushes permanently.
