I was making near that/ have multiple friends/acquitances making that when we were like 23/24 years old. We knew that wasn't "real" money back then; so idk how an even older person could think that's good money.
This is delusional, the average american earns less than 53000USD a year, earning over 100k is a priviledge and one should count themselves lucky because there are less fortunate folks out there, working 2/3 jobs and cant pay for a roof over their heads and still go to bed hungry.

What was your exit strategy out the lumber yard, what you doing now if you dont mind me asking? (dont want to assume doctor)I'm at 110k so far this year & I still grind the way I did when I worked those lumber yards making $13 an hour for $37,000 a year 10 years ago
It's all about that individual drive & extra gear we ALL have in us.
& it really doesn't take much to tap into that.
we were in NYC though. 100-150k in NYC isn't anything to brag about. But 100k in Mississippi or Albama or something is different obviously.
