Obviously he made the interception to seal it, but he tripped Lockette up here, forced a punt in the 4th Quarter. This trip (and the fortuitous no-call that just so happened to favor the Patriots :beli:) was the difference between NE getting the ball back & at least a fresh set of downs for Seattle

Then, the closing speed on this slant was remarkable. Recognized the play & jumped the route. Beat Lockette (yet again) to put the game away. Some will blame Russ but this was just a remarkable play imo. It was like the football gods punished Seattle for that dumb ass playcall

Yall do realize how promising the future of the Patriots is right now. So much youth on this team. This guy is a rookie making super bowl winning plays that most vets wouldnt have made

That no call was ALMOST as bad as when cheattle roughed up the punter and got away with a 5 yard instead of the 15 yards it should have been..

That was questionable, but I don't believe there is anything in the rules that literally mentions swing leg vs plant leg. Roughing requires what is judged to be unnecessarily rough contract. I don't think that play qualified.
