The mother of an 11-year old boy has been sentenced to up to 15 years in prison for punching her 11-year-old son and striking him with an extension cord.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports that 30-year-old Monette Cheriee Oden was sentenced Monday in Black Hawk County District Court.
Oden must serve at least three years before she is eligible for parole.
She has until Jan. 2 to turn herself in to prison officials and begin serving her time.
Authorities say Oden punched the 11-year-old boy in February because he'd taken her shoes. Police say she used the electrical cord to beat him on Jan. 23.

Gatdayum! Not that anybody here would rat on mom dukes or pops for whoopin'em. Maybe the reported punch is what put her under jail. Let's be honest I'm willing to bet more than 60% of us could report either gettin punched or whooped with a cord or both, or perhaps both in the same session.

She's eligible for parole in 3 but either way if there are siblings or even not there's probably some bad blood between them now.

told them lil ass kids they left their cheetos the girl said "oh thats trash now" bytch stil lcame back and got it but looked confused that someone checked her on it
