an article said he found the nearest ATT tower and negotiated a deal to have them run a tap from there. I just don't see why the fukk AT&T wouldn't just run their own network into that town more.
they probably didn't want to install all the wireless transmitters and antennas.......he was willing to do that part himself
he is basically a reseller

He got a direct fiber dedicated line and is reselling it which he's allowed to based on his SLA.

so he called an ISP an they just let him plug their fiber cable into his garage :stopitslime:


You can get a direct line as well but you have to incorporate and pay the installation cost, equipment fees and monthly access.

I'm guessing he's charging his neighbors $20-$50 month.

you hear about people pulling this every now and then. Last story I read was a while back a guy actually created his own cable company to complete with the shytty service the only one in town had. Nowadays, I think companies try to contract monopoly coverage.
