This is a nightmare 
Cliffs:
- Gets trapped inside his own body at a young age, unable to move, but conscious of everything
- Grew to hate the kiddie show he would be put in front of constantly
- Was severely abused by caretakers and family who didn't realize he was conscious; slapped and punched in the face, cursed out, left in the heat or the freezing cold for hours
- Remembers an instance where his mom told him she wished he would just die
- Was fed is own vomit as a punishment by a nurse who was pissed he vomitted
- Was sexually abused
- Learned how to get away mentally from his physical prison to keep his sanity; would talk to himself or focus on tasks such as watching insects/track moving shadows
- First nice nurse met after 10 years noticed that he seems to show signs of reaction when she talks to him; convinces his parents to have him extensively checked
- Learns how to move again and communicate
