I'm not even attempting to do the math myself5 gigs is 5120 megabytes.
5120/50 is 102.4. So if you get 50 every second perfectly. It should only take 102.5 seconds to get to 5120.
I realize there will always be fluctuations and differences between the server and client side etc.
And actually getting a perfect download speed like that's pretty much impossible. Too many variables.
How was my math wrong though?
Not even trollin maybe im ignorant to something.

I think you are getting bits and bytes mixed up. 1gigabyte is 8000 megabits.

). Then I got a new wifi connector, which worked for a few months, but then they got wise to that. I don't know what to do now. They stopped all my workarounds. Plus, of course when I call them, they're like "no, we're not throttling you." I'm like on my phone wifi I can pull 40 down, but on my computer you limit me to 800kps. They're like "well, it must be your computer." I'm like "no, it worked perfectly find before, then you started throttling it." They're like "we don't throttle." I then am like

Yeah, they wanted to control it so you can use them forever (hello backwords compatibility
