Em lost his musical ear. He can still rap but he doesn’t make sonically pleasing music.

He even said he doesn’t want to make music like that anymore. He just wants to rap

His breath control is just too good now that's he's sober so he tries to fill every space in the beat. I think the way Eminem raps now is the way that he always wanted to rap but he was too fukked up to rap crazy fast while rhyming 7 syllables.

There was a time where Eminem seemed to put forth less effort and was dope. I don't know when it changed maybe around Rap God but he tries too hard now and you can just tell. He's still skilled but his rhymes are too technical now and at times hard to listen to.
