PEOPLE LIVE IN THR VALLEY(sac,davis,etc) AND DRIVE ALMOST 2 hours to THE BAY FOR WORK 40 HOURS A WEEK….THE BAY IS TOO EXPENSIVE TO LIVE FOR PEOPLE

to some people it is…my sister husband takes a amtrak to the bay..he has A real good job

I work in a hospital and they're giving people that were fully vaccinated before October $500 and people after $200 check separate from payroll. They're about to make it mandatory next month but offering people incentive to get it now so they don't have to worry about firing or losing staff all at once.

The email came out Friday the 30th telling everyone this week that they'll be giving us a $500 bonus check in the next two weeks.

Today they sent us papers saying the same thing without the "within the next 2 weeks" part and made us sign saying we received the new papers.

At the end of the work day we got a new email saying we won't get the check until the end of the year. Oh and starting on the 22nd it's mandatory to be vaxxed.

Everybody that wasn't vaxxed took the first shot to get that money and is getting the second right before the deadline. Crazy how convenient that is right? I want my $500 breh

I'm in the bay and live 27 miles from where I work. Factoring in traffic that 27miles is now an hr drive during commute times. I used to live 52 miles away from work but moved 2 years ago. I have coworkers that live in the 2 most popular valley spots, one is 60 miles and the other city is 65 miles and they all make the commute daily
