A Colorado man has been arrested after fatally shooting his boss following an argument, police say.

According to Aurora police, Lloyd Clifford Love, 35, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder.

Police say officers were called to the business Thursday night for reports of a shooting somewhere on the property. When officers arrived, they learned the shooting stemmed from a dispute between Love and his employer.

First responders attempted lifesaving measures to the victim but were unsuccessful.

Love, who police say fled the scene before officers arrived, was later found in a vehicle and arrested without further incident.

According to KDVR, Love shot his boss because his middle initial was incorrect on his paycheck, preventing him from being able to cash it.

Frustrated he was unable to cash his check, Love drove to the business where he got into an argument with his employers, KDVR reports. He then shot 52-year-old Marvin Johnson in the face, according to police.

R.I.P. to the victim.

A simple “hey, can you resubmit my paycheck for me bro..I think some info was entered wrong” would’ve got him his pay check, and freedom for another day.

He probably did that at first. The boss probably blew him off.

Maybe he asked and the boss told him "If the middle initial is wrong, then you should have had it right on your documentation, I'm done writing checks for the week, wait until next payday :camby:"

It's still insane to shoot him in the face tho

The story came up a couple of weeks ago. He argued with his manager's wife. She called her husband and he agreed to write him a new cheque. He shot him in the head as he was walking away to get a replacement cheque.

He could’ve gone to a hood check cashing place, no questions asked, no ID required. This was unnecessary.

The boss didn't blow him off.

The fukked up thing about this story is that the killer is an ex con. A brother gave him a second chance. He was rewarded with a bullet in the head as he set out to write him a replacement cheque.

Didn't have that heat for the banker who refused to cash his cheque. He killed the one person who went above and beyond to help him.

Scumbag shyt.
