NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are investigating after they say a man killed his wife and girlfriend in a murder-suicide in north Nashville early Monday morning.
Police spokeswoman Kris Mumford told News 2 Shanel Bowen reported her boyfriend, Andre Parker Sr., missing Sunday night.
Bowen reported to police she was concerned the 43-year-old man was going to harm himself.

Photo: WKRN Parker was found by officers in his van around 11:30 p.m. outside of his vacant home on Qualynn Drive that was damaged by fire in October.
Parker then spoke to Mobile Crisis Services, who determined that Parker was not in need of intervention.
Around 4 a.m. Monday, police said Parker called his adult son and asked him to meet him at Bowen’s home located in the 2800 block of Vista Lane, off Ewing Lane.
Upon his arrival, the 26-year-old son discovered his father, mother and Bowen shot to death in or just outside of aMonte Carloparked in front of the home. Police said the car belonged to Parker and his wife Jacqueline.
According to Mumford, a neighbor reported seeing Parker firing shots into the passenger side of the car.
Police said they believe Parker shot both his wife and Bowen before turning the gun on himself. A handgun was recovered from near his body.

Two children, ages 8 months and 6 years old, were discovered inside Bowen’s home. Neither was injured and both are now in the care of family.
Police said the infant belonged to the 25-year-old woman, his girlfriend, and Parker.
Police said there was not any hostility between the two women and that Jacqueline Parker, 41, and Bowen may have been together trying to help Parker.

Police added there is no record of any trouble between the Parkers. At the time of the shooting, the couple was reportedly separated.
According to police, Parker and Bowen had been involved in two previous incidents since September.
Police stated Bowen reported she and Parker had argued over alleged property issues in late September and on Dec. 1. However, there were no reports of physical assault between the two.

“Her heart is like full of gold. She’s very sweet,” the neighbor said about Jacqueline.
When asked what Andre Parker was like, she said, “He was hilarious. He was cool. Like, you really didn’t see him much unless he was out fixing on cars.”
The neighbor told News 2 the couple had children together but had separated.
“Imagine losing both of your parents right before the holidays. I lost my mama on Thanksgiving; they lost their mother and their father right before Christmas, so I know it’s bad,” she added.
The investigation is ongoing. A motive has yet to be determined.
