MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Friends of Jeremiah Taylor are distraught after hearing of his death Friday morning off of Getwell Road.
The reason why is because he’s also one of the people responsible for keeping the Young Dolph memorial clean and looked after.
FOX13 spoke to a friend of Jeremiah’s, who told FOX13 he and the family are finding out information as time goes on.
Frank Gottie, a well-known community activist and friend, said he saw Taylor like a brother.
“Jeremiah was a great person and he was so on point,” Gottie said. “He was helpful he would try to help anybody.
MPD is still looking for the suspects responsible in the killing of Taylor.
