Which is built from being in the environment.
I have to wear thermals in thirty degree weather now because I moved from the chi and been in leather shorts or vegan shorts damn near for three years minus like six months over those three years. Only like two months out here you will be in pants if that.

So, from my experience you just lose that cold weather tolerance or never build it up.

I miss the Real winter cause I really don't get to wear pants in the south.
Plus shorts swag and summer swag is so limiting.
after you have summer conditions like nine months out the year.

Leather and vegan shorts in the fall to the winter and feb-march to the real summer starting in april, and ending in November.

This was the first year it was not summer all year and that was more carryover from the hurricane season.

You wear pants in Feb to April and will cook.

You wear pants September to December and will cook.

Thermals will keep you warm but if you sweat it won't keep you dry and not having that sweat dry up will get you the shivers. Try wearing a thermal (cotton) on top of a base layer that will wick away sweat. UA better for fitness.
