I'm gonna need everybody that was up in arms, outraged, shocked and aghast last week when they found out Mannie wasn't gonna be a part of an imaginary album that's never gonna come out....to come in here and at least pretend to give a fukk about the dude as an artist....all that " how they gonna do Mannie like that" a couple days ago and y'all just gonna completely no-sell the promo-tour he got off the strength of last week's headlines
Dope interview...i thought Drag Rap birthing the Trigger Man sample was common knowledge by now, but I forget not a lot of people know much bout bounce...talks about Kanye almost signing to CMR back in the day and how much fun the Ruff Ryder/Cash Money tour was as well
Oh and it's a shame no one ever mentions or talks about Cash Money's first generation of rappers.
It was cool to hear Fresh mention UNLV, Lil Slim and Pimp Daddy. That 1991-1996 Local 580/Black Connection 226 era don't get nearly enough recognition.
Check out Fresh's production on the UNLV, PxMxWx, Lil Slim, Mr. Ivan, and Pimp Daddy albums. It's gems all over the place
