Mad respect to Mannie........ but u have to be a fellow New Orleanian to really understand the effects and the engrained melodic cadence of that "Brownz Beat".... its the heart-beat of the city......

let me set the scene........

9:00 o'clock in the morning Rev. Pork-Chop preaching.......
the choir blowing them old negro spirituals.....
and deacon son who just got outta jail is on the drums....
the fakkit-child-molesting choir director on the organ

dog.....when u church....and a nikka "Bounce"
"Jesus is on the main-line"......shyt is epic.....

when they say anything can be bounce......literally anything.....
it killed me when I heard Adele- Someone Like You over a "Browns Beat"
just immaculate dog......its the rhythm and the patterns seem like a math equation for the soul
the right tempo.....and right number of snare taps.....hittin the ghost notes with the interchangeable hats
or chants.....shyt is like a science......luv that fukkin "browns beat"

Mannie said nikkas don't like paying for beats..

He said nikkas spend mad bread on cars and chains but want a discount when it comes to beats

I remember he said jeezy was nervous when he brought the guitar in the studio:mjlol:
