That rant probably ended any chance at winning the nomination that he had. The republican base is unapologetically racist and has basically already made it clear that Trump as their guy.

Their house ******s getting in where they fit in. They both know that racism exists. They probably encounter more racism than any of us do. We saw Smith get publicly lynched and neutered by whites not to long ago and we know that with all the white men that Stacy has dealt with that she's been all kinds of ******-bytches. They deny and deflect from white racism because white people pay them to deny it. They're both puppets for whites who say what they're told to say.The country is very racist, and most racists are very religious. A very dangerous mix.
If he gets in or not won't really matter, because the Republican party has appealed to the worst elements of these racists and there is no going back now. Civility is gone.

at people buying into the "Trump will ruin the republican party". Trump represents the foundation of this country. People are turning out in record numbers for the republican primaries and trump is the clear front runner. Mixed Latinos are waiting on any excuse to join up with the republicans. White Latinos who are at least middle class are already republicans. The Republican Party isn't going anywhere.

I don't think that he was being insincere there. I think that he is in the process of getting a wake up call. Technically he and Cruz are white but they're on the bottom rung of whiteness. They only get to pass as long as they pledge their ultimate support to white supremacy. Trump is pulling the sheet off and exposing a lot of the "silent majority" for the racists that they are but the media is spinning it. Despite what it may look like, the media is helping Trump. They not only give him all the free promotion that he needs, they refuse to call he and his supporters out. They're spinning the narrative for Trump and his supporters actually.
