Maidana is probably sparring with the Hulk gloves on like :scusthov: when he's now seeing the huge difference on the punishment he can deliver out in sparring while wearing 10oz Everlast Powerlock Gloves over 8oz Everlast MX Gloves:dead:


Floyd is definitely trying to pull a fast one.....let's see how it all plays out:lupe:

Didn't they were 8 oz gloves in the first fight, so how were they pillows, its not like when Mayweather wore the 10 oz Heavyweight gloves against De La Hoya

also Maidana came in at 165, and both Floyd's WBC belts are on the line this time so they have to use 10 oz gloves now, but they won't be the heavyweight ones

There's a big difference between getting hit by someone wearing 8oz MX or Cleto Reyes gloves compared to getting hit with 8oz Powerlock gloves breh.


What I was stating that Maidana is used to training and sparring in 8oz MX gloves and now he's training and sparring (for the 1st time) in 10oz Powerlock gloves......that makes a huge difference in the amount of damage you can do to someone in the ring and I know he's feeling sick about it.

Okay but if they both have the same gloves on then what the problem

it's not like Flyd is wearing the MXs and he won't let maidana where them

Maidana is lucky he wasn't fined and suspended for trying to cheat

they should have just used the Red Ones from the jump before they even had the shyt in their mind to handicap him

They don't wear the same gloves.

The gloves that Floyd is trying to make him wear are gloves to protect the hand. They have more foam around the knuckle area. Reyes and MX are made with less foam and a harder leather.
