This makes him look even worse with him saying he could have paid it on the spot if he knew he could get locked up for not paying it back in a certain amount of time.

I disagree. Old PR tactics no longer work. Silence and/or lawyer-speak just makes people run with their own narratives. People feed off the idea that they have you hiding or scared or there’s more to uncover

When you come with the heavy handed personal denial, typos and all, it kills a lot of that. I believe him

So the problem wasn't that he didn't have the money. The problem was that he does have the money and he basically hit the :camby:when he was supposed to pay his debt. Openly taunt the casino for over year and get mad when they send you to collections. Dudes watch too many movies. He'd probably be happier if they took one of his fingers or something over sitting down for a couple of days.
