She's still one of the GOATS but lets not fool ourselves into thinking she still sounds good. She sounds like a good American Idol singer at this stage of her career and thats ok. Its weird how her voice is blown after only 25 years and Chaka can do all type of drugs and she still got it. Patti can do all these vocal tricks and runs and she still got it. thats a rumor thats not public knowledge. I should have presented it as such. But she admitted to being on drugs before she started modeling and "allegedly" she was using after the Love Deluxe album. Most of my favorite artists have bad drug habits so i wont look at her any different if its true.

If it’s true that Sade was on heroin, I don’t think it really made too much of difference on her voice given that she was/is much more “reserved” vocally than Mariah and Whitney. She’s a different kind of singer than them tbh.
