Mario Draghi's European Central Bank press conference was interrupted today by a protester who leapt on top of his desk, spraying confetti on him and shouting about an "ECB dictatorship." The woman was quickly hauled away and an unflappable Draghi resumed his speech after just a few minutes delay.

The "attacker" was identified as Josephine Witt, a well-known protester who has participated in other international demonstrations, most notably with the group known as FEMEN. After being released from custody, she tweeted that FEMEN was not behind today's outburst.
