seems like more of the sameMario & Luigi was never some highbrow shyt
It's a niche franchise, and this seems to mostly deliver to that audience
last M&L I really liked was Bowser's inside story. Paper Jam/Dream Team were meh.

This is definitely my least favorite entry in the series and I played M&L: Paper Jam.This game is somewhat tedious and long.
I'm nearly 50 hours in and only now close to the final island.
the skip-forward barely doing anything is my main complaint...it makes Pokemon dialogue look brief. This is definitely my least favorite entry in the series and I played M&L: Paper Jam.
All the complaints IGN gave in their review I agree with. All that unnecessary forced dialogue, the button mapping for Luigi’s attacks, the low number of boss battles, the game length being stretched out by unneeded back tracking, the hand holding, the general way they treated Luigi in this game by not letting us really control him AND those damn IDLE kids.
Damn I didn’t even think about the skip not doing much. Now I’m going to notice it. It speeds it up a tiny bit i thought.the skip-forward barely doing anything is my main complaint...it makes Pokemon dialogue look brief.
The plug designs and puns aren't that cool, so everyone is annoying and ugly.
The Combat Is great, even though I do suck at certain Bros. Attacks.
I gave up ony doing sidequests by the last part...i just don't care enough to pad my game with 3-4 hours of nothing when i'm so close to the final boss.
