I believe it's his connection to Breitbart (sp?) news and the alt-right in general which has been characterized by many as just a more comfortable term for white nationalists/supremacists. Based on some of the things I've heard some of the talking heads from those organizations say I would agree.

He presided over the premier Alt-Right media outlet. If Obama hired a person who was the editor of a top Communist or Jihadi newspaper I'm sure your conclusions would be different.

Bill O'Reilly will have a talk show (on fox news) talking about the dangers of rap music. But the fox network will broadcast NFL games with rap music blasting in the background of their pregame shows, when going to commercial breaks all while showing commercials of empire.

It was hilarious during the whole campaign when Cuban was harping on Trump being a racist(which is obviously true i aint defending him) and leaving out the fact that years ago we remember him talking about how he would cross the street if he saw a Black person crossing...
