So we are all in agreement here right? In this era Lebron started this hoe shyt, and the Warriors took this hoe shyt to unprecedented heights, until some other soft ass hoe a few years from right now, scared to face criticism from other people he's never met, will take far less money to join a bunch of other superstars in their prime, and take this soft ass shyt to unprecedented levels.
I never called it hoe shyt. I say go wherever the fukk you like. People only call it hoe shyt when their team don't get chose.

Mark is right....

Rodman would never team up with the Bulls, he would reject the trade or sit out....oh wait, that was different

Clyde would never go to Houston to get a cheap ring, he would reject the trade with Thorpe or sit out....oh wait, that was different

Barkley would never demand a trade to a competitor to try to get a ring.....oh wait, that was different

Jordan would never retire when the front office wouldnt pay the superteam to stay together, he would stay and do it on his own....oh wait, that was different

Shaq in the mid 90s would never run to a 53 win team....oh wait, that was different

This is how a Hall-of-Fame career looks when you dont hold your own nuts and let teams do whatever they want with you. Either decide your future or get whored around by the league. No way a player of Mark Jackson's caliber should have been playing in all of those cities
9 teams in 17 years
Knicks
Clippers
Pacers
Nuggets

Raptors

Jazz
Rockets

apples and oranges

dennis rodman was traded for a stiff and a bag of chips because at 33 he was more trouble than he was worth and no one thought he could still contribute to a championship team.

Drexler asked to be traded after playing 12 seasons in portland making 2 NBA finals, and his career was winding down and he was past his prime.

Barkley was old (See drexler) they were all past their primes. had they came together in 1990 (barkley, dream, clyde) then your post would have some merit.

the 98 bulls were done (after the season), that was likely going to be their last ring, hell every one called it the last dance. Jordan was 35, pippen 32 (Wth a debilitated back) rodman 36, harper 35 etc...) It was the end

Again none of the above compares to a 26 year old 2nd best player in the league in durant intentionally throwing a playoff series, texting with players on his "rival" team then joining said team 2 months later. not sure why nikkas can't comprehend simple shyt.

Not apples and oranges. Free agency began in '88. So all that "We would never..." stuff doesnt even apply before that. I doubt Wilt felt terrible about being traded to a team with Elgin Baylor and Jerry West and Gail Goodrich.

"Yeah I teamed up, but I was old trying to chase a ring" That doesnt fly, did you or didnt you team up? Were you actively arguing against the trade to a great team or not? Were you happy when you got to a stacked team and won or not?

Clyde was 32 in '94 and averaging 21ppg on 50% shooting, he wasnt some bum.

And what proof is there that Durant intentionally threw the series?

Wilt would NEVER team up with russel, they went damn near 40 years without speaking to eachother because of a misunderstanding at a speaking engagement that bill had and wilt thought he was tkaing shots at him.

Again there's a difference between being on the back 9 of your career trying to win a championship vs you being 25 in your prime and trying to go to the best team in the league to win. When your looked upon as a top 5 player your not intentionally trying to go to the best to win. That's not how this works you know it and I know it.

Drexler was still an allstar player, but he was no longer a top 10 player and he was injury prone and older.

watch that video, I never seen durant play like this ever. It wasn't so much the missed shots it was the shots he was taking, they were early in the clock and uncharacteristic of him. Shyt felt surreal.
