Russia isn't going to abandon its partnership with China and vice-versa. Trump may be taking cues from Kissinger of all people, but it isn't going to work.

Both China and Russia are moving towards operating outside of the dollar system. They're both buying gold at huge ass rates and both exploring trade in mutual currencies. Iran is the hot bed of this.
