Marks Requesting And Getting Refunds for Night of Champions

Some fans are turning their disappointment with the current WWE storyline into a refund for Night of Champions. Several fans claim to have called Cox Cable and asked for a refund after Daniel Bryan’s WWE Title win at Night of Champions was overturned on RAW. The fans have reportedly received refunds.

A Cox representative has confirmed that other people have called and received refunds because the finish of the show they paid for were invalidated.

One It's Still Real To Me Mark explained why he asked for a refund:
An Elite member wrote me to tell me that he called Cox Cable and asked for a refund due to the finish of the Night Of Champions PPV being overturned. He said that Cox eventually gave it to him and the representative told him that other people had asked for a refund for the same reason.

Cox is my cable company as well so I called my representative and was told that indeed other people have already called and gotten refunds, feeling that by invalidating the finish of the show that they paid for, they deserved it. This could become a slippery slope for wrestling companies.

I agree with you to an extent. While they clearly need to lighten up I wouldn't call them idiots. We all get pissed about fictional wrestling angles and then do nothing about it other than come here or twitter and bytch and keep watching and the cycle continues.

Them getting pissed, demanding and getting their money back for show at least accomplishes something for that person, and if this works for enough people wwe will notice too.

Me personally unless there was a technical issue that kept you from watching the show I don't think they deserve their money back. WWE or the cable company shouldnt be at fault because you didn't like a creative decision. You still brought to the show.

It's not like people were able to get free service from HBO just they hated how The Sopranos last episode ended.
