I understand folks wanting their kids to have more then them but .. I can’t co-sign this current generation. I’m not a 50 Cent, fan by a long shot however I can see why he feels the way he does . I see it my family as well folks don’t want to work/ finish school. They’ll watch you struggle and feel entitled to reap the benefits once you make it. These aren’t kids either their fully grown adults in their early to late 20’s. I say you give folks what you want them to have and anything extra is .. it’s a bonus. Don’t give folks everything because everything is never enough.

A boy who gets too much without earning it grows into a man with a weak worth ethic.

At least one of the parents should’ve been thinking ahead on some, “if you get straight A’s this term you can have x, y, z.”

It would’ve instilled pride when he achieves and that fire to keep self-improving throughout his life.

I been trying to push my young bro to get a part time job, study coding, and help his mom out but no matter what I say, he tells me what I want to hear and does the opposite. It’s frustrating but it is what it is, u can’t make anyone do what they don’t want to
