Well I'm about to propose to my best friend in less than a month and I'm excited.
:blessed:

I bought the ring last month, and I plan on proposing after her graduation or at the get together afterwards.

:jawalrus:...:myman:

I made this thread to see what the married brehs did or what some of you guys plan to do if you do propose to make it memorable, or will you be nonchalant about it.

Ladies how would you want ya man to pop the question???

:lupe:...:feedme:

Our first date was dinner and walking The National Mall.....laughed the whole time. Good times.

Five years later, with 3 of our closest friends present, proposed on The Mall.....

Was nervous as all shyt.....

How did she propose???
Wasn't anything super special. We'd been together for two years at that point. We were just sitting around eating and she asks me where I felt I was going to be at in life in 5 years. I told her probably still doing my military gig, and hopefully finishing up undergrad. I asked her the same question, and she responded with "married to you". I gave her a look like :whoo:, and she asks "do you want to get married to me"? So I said fukk it, why not?:manny: There was none of that getting on one knee, having strangers all in your grill shyt.
We'd been inseparable the whole two years anyway, and I knew after the first six months that she was the type that I'd wife. Been going almost ten years strong now.

That's real, my man.

I think what people need to understand what works for one person doesn't work for everyone...if all parties involved are happy then everything else is white noise.

I got shyt from people because we waited so long, but we knew we wanted to finish college and get our careers started before we built a family.

:salute:congrats on ya marriage

Bruh, first, :whoa: with that pic. Made a nikka shiver.

Anyways, even though you know what she will say, a part of you is still on some :patrice:. It's natural.

Good luck brehthren, you'll be fine.
