A Virginia martial arts teacher was charged with child abuse after knocking out a 5-year-old student with an angry throw.
Justin Branick was teaching taekwondo at the Tiger Beat Martial Arts Academy in Bristow, Va., when the incident happened Tuesday.
The 21-year-old allegedly picked the boy up by his ankle in a fury, before throwing him over his shoulder.
The child was immediately knocked unconscious, reported Inside Nova.
The following day, another employee contacted authorities to tell them that Branick had thrown the boy across the room, Prince William police spokesman Nathan Probus said.
Following a swift investigation, police arrested Branick on a charge of felony child abuse.
