I'm making this thread in honor of the late Martin Luther King Jr, because of him and his efforts in ending the legal segregation of African-American citizens in the South and other areas of the nation, as well as the creation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Mr.King and the other Civil Rights Activists went thru hell, so we can be where we are today, and for that I am grateful, so to you Mr.King and the other Civil Rights Activists I

for making this thread before the hypermilitants and conspiracy theorists try to come in n make a mess of things.

Every member of the Civil Rights movemen was a cog in this great machine, and to devalue one because of preferential treatment will be the same as dismantling of that machine. Want more leaders to be publicized? Then go out, put people on, publicize!

MLK is one of Black America's most influential human beings, and the Civil Rights movement needed all of its member in full force to succeed in its goals.

+rep the thread. Just trying to imagine what all of the dudes in the Civil Rights movement went through is just absolutely amazing. They sacrificed their lives on a daily basis fighting for justice and equality. I want to make sure my life is used to keep fighting the evils of white supremacy.
