Anne Arundel County Police arrested a man after his girlfriend reported he shot at her vehicle several times in Lothian over the weekend.
Investigators responded to the domestic dispute incident around 2:30 p.m. Saturday on Southern Maryland Blvd. and Sands Rd. There, the met with the victim, a 41-year-old woman, who said that her boyfriend, 26-year-old Martin Luther King Jr. shot at her vehicle several times as she was driving. Fortunately, she was not struck by gunfire.
Police were able to quickly locate his car parked in the Lyons Creek Trailer Park and located a home they thought he was inside of, however, King was not there. Around 10:15 p.m. King surrendered himself to authorities and was arrested.
King is charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault
