Marvel Is Paying Homage To Hip-Hop Classics With A New Line Of Comics

adopting the Jewel Runners’ salute for a couple of covers earlier this year, prepare to nerd the f*ck out. Marvel is again diving into the world of hip-hop on a new line called Hip-Hop Variants, which will feature covers that pay homage to some of the genre’s most iconic albums – and their artwork.
Uproxx was lucky enough to get a sneak peak at some of the tributes, which fans will be able to get their hands on in October. Below, take a look at a handful of the covers available, side-by-side with the album artwork that inspired them.
