title is false...marvis frazier didn't have to be pushed to get into boxing by joe...he wanted it and wanted to bring the title back to the fraziers

on joe frazier's beyond the glory episode, joe was puzzled when his kids wanted to fight when they are all educated and smart and went to school..he didn't want them to fight because he felt they didnt need to

the biggest mistake with marvis was having joe frazier as his head trainer instead of george benton..who actually gave him his foundation..joe thought that marvis should fight like him plus marvis wasn't a big heavyweight..he was cruiserweight but the money in the heavyweight division was there plus he had the name..only 2 all time greats were actually able to beat him but he was a decent fighter

No WAY he should have had him in the ring verses Holmes 10 fights into his pro career. Only got that shot because of his name. I don't care who trained him of had love for the fight game. Should have been "nah son!"

 That Larry Holmes fight was probably worse as you can see Holmes holding back A LOT.
